There are situations where the distinctive flavour of coconut would not be appropriate. This is where this particular coconut butter is perfect. It has been processed without chemicals or preservatives to produce a cooking fat that is free from the flavour of coconut and odour, so it will not taint your food.
This cooking fat is not absorbed into food in the same way as other oils. It has a low melting point and will become liquid at around 29°c. We find that it makes the perfect butter alternative in gluten-free baking recipes, since its super liquid nature allows you to use less to get the same results*.
